On November 19, 2024, Roane County Schools and the Roane County Schools Education Foundation (RCSEF) hosted a Thankful for Our Community Members’ Breakfast at Gates Hall in the Harriman City building. The event recognized community partners for their support of the overall school district and for partners’ making a difference at individual schools.
Russell Jenkins, Director of the Roane County Schools, and Jan Fine, President of the RCSEF, thanked the many community partners who contribute to the success of our schools. Principals from many Roane County Schools, teachers, and district staff representatives participated in the event and thanked our community partners.
Community partners attending the breakfast included Dewberry Pet Spa, Eddie’s Auto, Grove Baptist Church, Harriman City Government, James Brummett Insurance, Kingston Elementary School PTO, Laurel Bluff Baptist Church, Piney Grove Baptist Church, Rockwood First Baptist Church, Roane County Anti-Drug Coalition, Roane County Government, Roane County Health Department, Roane County Scottish Rite, Roane State Community College, The Roane Alliance, and parents who volunteer at their school.
